    For mac users check out the app TextWrangler, its a great alternative to Notepad++.

    hard coding means that you put values directly in your code, not using it dynamically by utilizing variables. it’s a bit like creating constants, you will not be able to manipulate hard coded values, like you could using variables. so changing hard coded values would only be possible by searching for it’s usage within your code and change it there. it’s bad programming style, so don’t get used to it. @cj vaans (not finding your comment again…)

    once you start using php and javascript in your page id say you are programming or scripting same kinda thing. Im taking web Dev now in my Computer Engineering Technology Computing Science course.

    HTML and CSS are not programming languages. HTML is a markup language. CSS is a style sheet language.

    Yeah, I realized I saved the file as normal text (.txt) rather than (.html).
